Petite Passport
Briefing
Pauline Egge from Petite Passport wanted a total redesign of the Petite Passport website since she’s getting more attention and followers each day, the website had to grow with it in order to meet expectations (both visitors as well as publishers) and to be prepared for some future involvements. It simply had to be transformed from a simple blog to a website which could carry more to have the feel like an online magazine.
Project
We started with some ideas and sketches for the new layout. Pauline eventually wanted to stay close to the old look of Petite Passport. Our work resulted is a clean and subtle look, just the kind she was looking for. We implemented some SEO goodies and gave all destinations a designated page.
The idea is to attract visitors to visit the full blog post instead of giving it all away on the homepage. That way the homepage is more structured, leaving opportunities for Petite Passport to add affiliates and ads in the full post.
The Result
It resulted in a quite rich yet subtle and clean website made in WordPress containing all the nessecary items an online magazine needs. More visual attention and better UI. I believe Petite Passport has a winner here.
Go have a look.
