I’m excited about this. In two days I’ll be hitting Berlin for the weekend with a couple of friends. I guess it’ll be a photo fest since everyone’s bringing his digital and analogue camera’s. So be prepared because they’ll land here next week, Berlin through our lenses.

We’ll be staying in Kreuzberg at 36 Rooms. From there I don’t have a clue what we’re up about. I guess we’ll be fahrrad’ing from district to disctrict through East-Berlin to catch the best spots this cool city has to offer. Mike spotted a crazy party at Berghain so that’s what we’ll be doing for sure. As for the rest, equipped with my Unlike Berlin iPhone app I guess we’ll be just fine.

I recently had my birthday and Len is celebration hers next week so we figured out we combine our parties into one which will be held tomorrow. The invitation list has been sent, Spotify has been hooked up with the stereo, the playlists are made, food and beverages are in, icecubes for the bathtub are arranged. It’s nearly all there. One more day before we start the music!

Sunday was a delight! A very laidback day in the house. Watching movies, surfing the web, exploring new music and making homemade pasta. Len bought wild mushrooms the day before and decided to create a autumn pasta. It was delicious. Making pasta yourself makes you appreciate the consuming part. It also brings a bit of pride with it. And the whole process is fun. We made a promiss. Once or twice a month we’re having ‘Pasta Domenica fatto in casa’. Can’t wait till the next one.

Today is a special day. Yes, Holland is playing this afternoon but there’s something more special. Something less orange and more personal. Len and I are celebrating 2 years of love and happiness! Thinking of Valencia, the place where it all began, still puts a very big smile on my face. Looking back on those two years I realize we’ve done some cool stuff. Lots of stuff to fill a book already. Can’t wait to fill even more chapters with you. It’s good to have you around cara <3

I was told that dreaming is a good thing. And since I’m activly doing it I have a very-very long wish-list. As long I can convince myself that I really NEED all the stuff I’m sorting ways to fix it all. So I started thinking. What is it I need? Well I definitely need a new iPhone. Lucky for me there’s one (iPhone 4) getting announced next week. And it’s going to be a very sexy one according to all the lost prototypes and specs. And it’s not a luxury since my 1G is slowly dying on me. Have to give it strong sedatives to sing time out till the introduction of his new cousin. So yeah, I need it.  

Two weeks ago I figured to give myself a little treat. Something for the eye, something for the feet. I picked up a pair Vans Vault x Taka Hayashi Priz Hi Lace LX and they are amazing! Oh right, I also picked up a new pair of Vans Vault Del Barco Lo LX in that same week. Len is complaining and accusing me of a shoe fetish. I guess she’s just jealous over the fact I have more pair of shoes than her, a girl haha.

Last week was a very good one. Businesswise I kicked ass for Pluimen, again. On the personal level I had good dinner with Anne-Lise and one with the guys from Fontanel. Great to get some critical feedback on the concept thing so thanks again!

Over the weekend Len and I had a little tour through the northern part of the city. Some food at Lof der Zoetheid and some walking through Zwaanshals. We were a bit surprised when we found out about ROTABS style center. Great vibe, great initiative. The evenings were packed with Kick-Ass the movie and all LOST S06 episodes. Have you seen them? I got a bit bored since I had the feeling they wanted to put at least three seasons into one. Definately hope the last season of Entourage will be more satisfying. And after that, than what? No more series, a black hole? Any suggestions anyone?

I think everyone had a great weekend. Everytime I refreshed my Twitter I’ve seen people going insane over the weather this weekend. Sun equals outside activities and outside is where the fun is. Good for shooting pictures. I’ve been doing it over the last couple weeks but last saturday I figured how stupid I am! Over the last weeks I’ve been taking some pictures here and there with my Leica. When the indicator hit 36+ I started to worry a bit. So I opened the casing and guess what… the film was jammed all the time. At least, that’s what I’m guessing. A bunch of film is going to the developer today so fingers crossed.  

Time is flying again with all systems being totally back to normal which is a kind of bummer. Life in the city is the complete opposite of the kind we had over there in Asia. But there’s also good stuff going on which drags me through the transition.

I had some good talks with people this week discussing some of the ideas I came up with during the trip. It’s all about getting the right people in the right positions and make something awesome together. Looks like the future will be filled with good things. Let time fly and ink be spilled.

Since we dropped back in town, I started to think of a lot again and all the fun stuff that’s suppose to be going on here. I’m eager to see all the guys again. I hope you are too. I know my parents will be happy to see me again and I’ll enjoy the Tuesday diners (no big portions for me anymore mom). But there’s way more.  

Wow, this was a mesmerizing 100 105 day trip! So nice to see all those peoples cultures and habits. So divers, so damn cool! Needless to say I really enjoyed all of this. A great experience and even a better one to share it with my cara, Len. I’m really happy we did this thing together. It’s good to know you can totally count on someone in a relationship and I love her for that.  

Me: Yes it is. Who is this?

MA: This is Malaysia Airlines. We have an airplane for you.

Me: What?!

MA: You are flying in four hours!  

Is it this bad? I guess it is. We were supposed to be sitting in the airplane right now doing Kuala Lumpur first before heading on to Amsterdam. Wasn’t it for the ash cloud which got our flight pushed to the 30th of April. Kind of a bummer at first because we were all set and you know, wanted to see all you guys again. Well, ain’t gonna happen till May.  

Ok, so we went for a long walk yesterday which took us across the local market (fresh as in living big ass fish anyone? It’s ok, they have plastic bags) and several other places. Until we stumbled upon this nice little alley. Mom, dad, children, live cooking, it was vivid. Then I met this guy. He seemed to do some haircutting. So I took a seat and told I wanted to look cool. The guy said ok. The result… well, I think we have a different look on looking ‘cool’. At least we look the same so I must be cool for the people here right? Intro video after the jump.
