Look what Len bought me for my birthday. It’s the Hard Graft 2Unfold laptop bag in all grey which I’ve been craving for a long time. As expected, the design and the materials are just amazing!

I shot some photos of the bag last weekend and tried to capture it in all his awesomeness. Here’s the first shot since I couldn’t wait to post about the 2Unfold laptop bag. Expect some more within a week or so.

Oh that Len… she’s the absolute best. Not only for getting me this insane present. But for all the other stuff she does day in day out. Thanks again cara!

I had my eyes on this one for some time but I finally bought the Half Dome jacket by The North Face. It’s a technical 3L Gore-Tex Stretch Pro Shell jacket from the Summit Series. And in short, it’s awesome!

This jacket has an amazing fit and is fully waterproof, has windproof protection, great breath-ability and gives lots of freedom of movement. Sounds like the perfect jacket right?

Worth mentioning are the contrast straps at the cuffs as well as the shape of the cuffs itself. They have been cut diagonally to cover even more surface of your hands which comes in handy for riding on my Vespa during colder seasons. It simply a fully featured jacket and I love it.

I’m a big fan of Need Supply and love the way they communicate and present their products. I would place a lot orders if it wasn’t for the extra costs (shipping, customs, tax) that comes with every order since I live outside the US (the Netherlands that is). Yet I’m a recurring vistor to the site for the blog, photos and other treats.

A good example is the Autumn Winter 2011 video. This truly is a way of adding value to the user experience. Looking forward to the Sping Summer one.

As I found myself itching for new stuff, I got myself three Gitman Vintage shirts which I ordered online at Firmament Berlin and Nitty Gritty. The latest addition to my Gitman Vintage collection are the Blue Washed Chambray BD Oxford, Chambray Blend BD Oxford and Dark Grey Flannel BD shirt.

Now my closet is filled it’s time to fill up my bankaccount once again cause that’s the one being quite empty right now. Story of my life.

This guy sure must be responsible for some extra heartbeats per minute for some analog photography, instant film and Polaroid lovers.

I’m a big, big fan of The Hill-Side.They totally do it for me with their awesome ties and scarfs.

They just updated the The Hill-Side website with a new lookbook for the The Hill-Side fw 2011 collection. As always, with a very cool lookbook.

I sure see some must haves for upcoming season. I can’t wait to see those woolen ones in person.

I’m not much of a tie guy. In fact I can’t remember wearing one. So it’s not a big surprise that my closet isn’t loaded with them. I guess it just isn’t that kind of thing for me. Too formal I guess. Until I spotted those from The Hill-Side about a year ago.

Absolutely fabulous accessory products with a loosend up look so I bought one, a chambray grey one Just to have one just in case. I also bought an amazing The Hill-Side chambray black scarf which kept me good all winter. Right now I have my eyes on another scarf in lightweight chambray pale blue stripe.

Gitman Bros Vintage shirts are the best. Oxfords, plaids, chambray, Japanese organics… I just love them all. The shirts have an amazing fit and are made from quality materials. Gitman digs into their past for inspiration for new collections. Right now, the SS11 collection comes from ’86.

The lastest addition to my Gitman Bros Vintage shirt collection is the Blackwatch Tartan Button Down shirt which is made from Japanese Organics. An excellent lightweigth shirt for the summer.

My Gitman Vintage shirt collection is growing by the month. A new one (Solid Poplin Button Down) is on it’s way and I still have my eyes on the Overdyed blue/gray Checked BD shirt. Unfortunately the insane number of internet shops I follow all seem to have ran out of Mediums so I might have to pass on this one. No worries though, FW11 is around the corner!

Self-taught illustrator, painter, graphic and product designer, Taka Hayashi was born in Yokohama, Japan and moved to Santa Monica, CA when he was 9 years-old. Taka grew up in a defining era and locale in skate history and was influenced by the skate culture.

He got to my attention when I first came across his projects with Vans. But the projects I really dig are those for Vans Vault. I was lucky to scoop up these latest Taka Hayashi Sk8-Hi LX shoes.

I got the best gift from my love. She got me a Pocket Phone Case from Hard Graft.
