New for the Spring 2012 Vans Vault collection is the Vans Vault 106 Vulc LX. In all his simpleness this seems like a pair I would like to have.

The 106 Vulx LX is available in China Blue, Olive Night and Plaza Taupe and features super lightweight canvas, metal eyelets, leather laces and white vulcsoles.

Expect to see the 106 Vulc LX at select Vans Vault retailers like End, Hanon or Oki-Ni not too long from now.

Have a look at this amazing collab from Brooklyn between The Hill-Side and Outlier. They teamed up and one thing led to another resulting in a spring collaboration.

The Hill-Side gave their “ocean print” and Outlier did it up in a lightly insulated soft core vest, perfect for spring. The vest is made of lightweight 80 gram Primaloft insulation lined with 18.8 micron Superfine merino wool which keeps you comfortable and good looking. Sounds like a very nice piece. Available in a blue or red color way.

At the moment only Hickoree’s Hard Goods still have them in stock.

Stockholm-based Our Legacy, known for their use of relaxed cuts, premium fabrics and tremendous eye for colour and prints, recently released their Splash collection. The Swedish duo, Cristopher Nying and Jockum Hallin, have been working in tandem with art director Tony Cederteg to create their highly anticipated SS12 capsule collection, entitled ‘Splash’.

The Splash collection melds bold, nature-inspired printed and patterned fabrics with some of the brand’s most popular silhouettes and sit perfectly alongside the Our Legacy mainline collection.

The first pieces are dropping and are available at your favorite shop such as End Clothing, OKI-NI and Très Bien Shop.

This Gitman Vintage collection of mine is getting out of control. New to the stack of Gitman fabrics is the amazing Gitman Vintage Japanese Stripe shirt.

This blue with white horizontal striped shirt is made of lightweight and soft 100% Japanese cotton and features a three button collar, full buttoned front placket and locker hanger loop at yoke. It has a curved hem and single button cuff.

Minishop Confetti is a project by my own Lenneke Kooijman from Lennebelle and A Little Hamster. Minishop Confetti is a mini ‘pop-up’ and online shop in Rotterdam.

Minishop Confetti will support small local as well as international designers and will have handmade products from Iefke de Roos, Elke van den Berg, Lennebelle, Irma, Miga de Pan, De Draad, Niche and more.

Just in. A fresh pair of Vans Vault Priz Laced LX in Mink. I spotted these at End Clothing but eventually got these at Frisco.

The Vans Priz LX is a new addition to the Limited Edition Vans Vault range. A quick look at these show a simply styled shoe – taking its design cues from vintage tennis and skate shoes. They are made from soft premium grain textured leather with subtle detailing, such as contrast canvas toe box and welt. The Vans Vault Priz LX comes with tonal waxed laces and an alternate set of contrasting rolled waxed laces.

From my experience so far the sole feels softer and less stable than my other Vault shoes. So I think they wont last that long. But hey, they sure look damn good.

New for spring/summer 2012. The Hill-Side Guatemalan Ikat Stripe Tie in a blue and turquoise colorway.

These ties are made from 100% unwashed Fair Trade cotton from Guatamala. They seem perfect for a casual summer look. These go perfect with a Gitman Vintage or Band of Outsiders Oxford shirt.

You could have seen this one coming. After the release of ‘the new iPad’ Hard Graft immediately released their latest iPad accessory, the Hard Graft 2Point Turn iPad Case. This new product has three functions for your iPad use At the Movies, On the Move and Go Surfing.

It’s such a great product made of very nice materials as always. This one comes with premium heritage leather and dark grey felt. It’s makes a great team with my other Hard Graft gear. It fits perfectly in the back compartment of my Hard Graft 2Unfold Laptop Bag.

Gitman Vintage released their highly anticipated new Spring Summer 2012 collection. Nitty Gritty among others have received their first deliveries of the new Gitman Vintage collection and I’m pleased to see some great shirts in the collection.

My favorites are the BD Japanese Stripe shirt, BD Chambray Polka Dot shirt and the BD Madras Check shirt. But some Oxford shirts and the Gingham shirt also have my attention.

It’s a good thing we are moving this year to a place with significant more space because I think I need some for my Gitman Vintage shirt collection.

Norse Projects just released some amazing new t-shirts for the Norse Projects Spring Summer 2012 collection. They teamed up with illustration artists Geoff McFetridge (big fan of his work!), Michael Rytz and Daniel Frost. They made some very nice t-shirt designs for this seasons Norse Projects t-shirt collection.

Would love to see them all in my closet. It’s a combination of art and quality wear.

Even though it’s freezing here right now I had to catch this one before it ran out. I ordered this one at End Clothing.

Getting ready for the Summer.

Newest addition to my tie collection. A navy selvedge yarn-dyed twill tie by The Hill-Side.

This one feels great and is made of 100% cotton, one-wash Japanese fabric. Manufactured by The Hill-Side in New York City.

It had to be shoes week I guess. I copped a fresh pair of Common Projects Chukka Suede shoes in grey at Très Bien Shop. Tres Bien Shop had a 20% discount promo going and I was lucky enough to get my hands on these Common Projects shoes.

The description state it’s a Chukka boot in a rough suede leather with leather lining. Laced up with 2 holes and comes with a matching, sewn on, long lasting rubber outsole. Rounded toe. A classic piece of footwear that will stay with you year after year.

A big welcome to these new shoes on behalf of my feet and my wardrobe. My feet took them for a spin the other day. Loving these!  

I ordered a pair of Mark McNairy Dainite Sole Country Brogue snuff suede shoes at End Clothing earlier this week. Got them and tested them. In short, these Mark McNairy shoes are incredible.

These Mark McNairy Country Brogue shoes comes with premium suede uppers, Red Brick Ridgeway sole, punched brogue detailing, fully leather lined and Mark McNairy Logo detailing on the insole.

These shoes fit like gloves, look extremely good and blablabla. I guess this won’t be my last pair of Mark McNairy’s.
