The Fashion Track is organised to celebrate the re-opening of the street. It was a spectacular open air fashion show involving bright stationary trams in which the actual catwalk took place.

Spring is coming and my wardrobe is in need for some new t-shirts. I found a couple new staples in the Norse Projects Niels Pocket Moulinex T-shirt. I got them in the color Leaf and Dark Shadow.
As for the fit. The Norse Projects Niels Pocket Moulinex model has a great fit and quality construction. It is made from a premium overdyed cotton featuring a chest pocket and woven Norse Projects label above the hem.
The van Oldenbarneveltstraat is about to re-open. Part of this happening is a fashion event called The Fashion Track.

Another steal during the AW12 sale season. This time it’s the Norse Projects Richard Boucle T-shirt that recently arrived at my doorstep. I ordered this one at The Next Door.

I recently received the New Balance M576SGA 25th Anniversary Edition in grey which I ordered at Très Bien. Amazing shoe, great fit and awesome original color way.
Regarded by many as the quintessential NB shoe, the 576 incorporates everything that makes Flimby’s finest so great. This edition marks the 25th anniversary of the classic 576 with an original colourway. As always these New Balance shoes feature the famous C-Cap cushioning system and large N on the side. The uppers are constructed from a premium brushed pigskin and mesh combination. Still made in Flimby, this shoe is a true classic in any guise.
I believe seeing the online shop we made for Minishop Confetti made Mae Engelgeer of Designer Studio Mae Engelgeer give me a call. She was was curious about the possibilities to have her own custom online shop. Mae Engelgeer had the wish to have an online shop to sell more than just her own products like products from designers like Fellow Fellow, Adonde, Riikka Kantinkoski, Lennebelle. Therefor, a new name Magasin Mae was branded.
And sure, I helped her out with her own online shop. The site and shop for Magasin Mae is completed with some custom functionality. The mouse-over effects, the option to self determine the layout of a page, custom buttons within the site and many others make the Magasin Mae shop to one of our best E-commerce work so far.

After 9 months of waiting she’s finally here! Our daughter Mette Elba van Dongen was born last Tuesday on January 8th in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
I Really can’t tell how special this is and how proud I am of Len and of course Mette. These women complete my life right now.

I always spend more than anticipated during sale season but this one most definitely is worth every penny. Straight from The Bureau in Belfast comes the Inis Meain Dubh Shawl Collar Jacket.

Santa left me in neglectance last year but this year he rewarded my patience by getting me the Freunde von Freunden book. As expected the book is a perfect read for doing up some inspiration of day to day habits by creative folks.

A special one this year. This Christmas we’ll be together with the three (Len, Jack the cat and myself) of us in expectance of our little misses who is bound to arrive any moment now. At home (our amazing retreat) we had our Christmas breakfast in style. Even Jack joined us at the table after presenting him some of his favourite snacks.
A lovely morning with the best company I could have wish for. Cosy, just the way we like it! I just had to shoot some photos of it.
Len bought me a new scarf for my birthday. It’s the amazing Canada Scarf from Acne Studios in grey and red.
Made of Lambswool and large by size. This scarf is definitely keeping me warm all day.

Shooting the mood and interior of a wine bar. Always a welcome assignment. Especially when it’s l’Ouest were talking about.
l’Ouest is a wine bar situated in the van Oldenbarneveltstraat in Rotterdam, one of the nicest streets of the city. This place has lots of characteristics which makes the shoot really fun to do. Owner Wester and chef Karim offer their guests hospitality and quality products. A perfect place to relax and hang out with friends.
